LibActive™: This is our digital platform for habit formation and stress tracking. Access is provided for your personal, non-commercial use.
You understand and agree that LibGenetics™ practitioners are not acting as your primary care physician. Our services are designed to complement, not replace, medical advice.
Action Required: You are responsible for consulting your GP before making significant changes to your diet, exercise, or supplement routine based on our insights.
Emergency: Our services are not for crisis or emergency medical situations.
Because your DNA is the most personal data you own, we treat it with the highest security. We will never sell, lease, or rent your genetic information to third parties, including insurance companies or marketing firms.
Consent: By using LibGenetics™, you provide explicit consent for us to process your biological samples or data.
Third-Party Labs: We use accredited laboratory partners. Your data is pseudonymised (assigned a code) so the lab does not see your name.
Right to Delete: You may request the destruction of your samples and data at any time, subject to our laboratory’s minimum retention periods for quality control.
Please note that laboratories are required to retain certain records for a minimum period to meet legal quality control and accreditation standards.
International Data Transfers: By using our services, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred across international borders for processing by our accredited laboratory partners, in compliance with UK GDPR and relevant international data protection standards.
Raw Data Ownership: Analysis is provided via our proprietary reports. Requests for raw genetic data files are subject to our laboratory’s specific release protocols and may incur an administration fee.
Account Security: You are responsible for keeping your LibActive™ login details secure.
Technical Limits: While we strive for 100% uptime, we cannot guarantee the platform will be error-free or uninterrupted.
48-Hour Rule: To respect the intensive nature of our work, all Expert Coaching and Empowerment Sessions require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for cancellation or rescheduling. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice will be forfeited and cannot be recovered or refunded.
Discovery (Self-Led Journey):
Includes one monthly Empowerment Call for a duration of 3 months.
Pause Provision: You may pause your program for a maximum total of 3 months. After this period, any remaining sessions must be resumed or they will expire.
Direction (Guided Coaching):
Includes fortnightly (every two weeks) Expert Coaching calls over a 12-week period.
Grace Period: We provide a 30-day "flow-over" period at the end of your 12 weeks to accommodate holidays, illness, or availability. All sessions must be completed within this 16-week total window; any sessions remaining after the grace period expires will be forfeited.
Late Arrivals: If you are late for a session, the session will still end at the scheduled time to respect the next client’s booking.
Non-Refundable Status: Due to the sterile nature and biohazard controls of DNA collection kits, we cannot offer refunds or cancellations once a kit has been opened, used, or if the laboratory analysis has already begun.
Reporting a Fault: If you believe a kit is faulty (e.g., damaged components or a broken seal upon arrival), you must notify us within 7 days of receipt.
Proof and Return: To process a replacement for a faulty item, we may require photographic evidence of the damage. We reserve the right to require the faulty kit to be returned to us using the provided pre-paid envelope (or a provided digital return label) for inspection before a replacement is issued.
Product Fault: If a kit is confirmed to be faulty upon arrival, a replacement will be sent free of charge.
User Error: If a sample is rejected by the laboratory because the collection instructions were not followed (e.g., contamination, insufficient sample, or failing to adhere to fasting requirements), the kit is not considered faulty. In these instances, a fee will be charged for a replacement kit and subsequent shipping.
Liability Cap: To the fullest extent permitted by law, LibGenetics™ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss. Our total liability for any claim arising from our services or products is strictly limited to the total amount paid by you for that specific service.
Jurisdiction: These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of these terms.
Statutory Rights: Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer in your local jurisdiction.
We ship test kits globally to support your health journey. By ordering a kit, you agree to the following shipping and customs terms:
United Kingdom: Free (includes a pre-paid return envelope).
Europe: £10
US & Canada: £25
Australia & New Zealand: £50
For all kits returned from outside the UK, you must follow the provided instructions strictly to ensure the sample reaches the laboratory:
Documentation: You must use the provided return packaging. On the required customs declaration form, you must clearly write: "Exempt Human Specimen."
Customs Charges: You are responsible for ensuring the kit is labeled correctly. LibGenetics™ is not responsible for any import duties, taxes, or administration fees incurred during shipping.
Non-Compliance: We cannot be held liable for kits that are delayed, seized, or destroyed by customs authorities due to a failure to follow the labeling instructions provided (e.g., failing to mark the package as an "Exempt Human Specimen").
Missing Kits: We will replace kits lost in transit to you. However, LibGenetics™ is not liable for kits lost in the return post. We strongly recommend using the provided pre-paid envelope for all returns. Any fees from incorrect labeling by the customer remain the customer's responsibility.
